Additional information: The Breast Diagnostic Assessment Unit assesses patients with: - Palpable Breast Lump- Suspicious Mammogram/Ultrasound- Drainage from Nipple- Abnormal/Change in Breast Appearance Patients will be assessed and diagnosed within seven days of their appointment and your visit to our unit. If surgery is required, it is scheduled promptly. Our team will keep the referring physician informed at each step. The Breast DAU is overseen by a team of highly trained clinicians who specialize in breast cancer screening, diagnosis and treatment. Members include general surgeons (Dr. Hany Sawires, Dr. Thomas Gilias), diagnostic imaging specialists, pathologists, medical oncologists, nurses and clerical staff.
