Additional information: Toronto Western Hospital's Medical Imaging Department is an integral member of the Krembil Neuroscience Center and the Joint Department of Medical Imaging, (comprised of Toronto General, Princess Margaret, Toronto Western, Sinai Health and Women's College hospitals). TWH medical imaging is dedicated to providing routine and specialty imaging scans and procedures to support UHN and community patients’ needs. The department specializes in supporting neurosurgery, fracture and orthopedics, emergency, and outpatient clinic services. Our multidisciplinary teams of radiologists, fellows, residents, technologists and nurses, provide X-ray, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Interventional Radiology and Nuclear Cardiology imaging services. Due to excessive wait times, JDMI can not process requisitions outside the established catchment area for the following modalities / procedure types: computed tomography (CT), interventional radiology (IR), and biopsy. There are currently no timelines available for when these requisitions can be processed. Please note: Referrals cannot be canceled via the portal once submitted and will require a phone call to the department phone number listed above.
