Additional information: MindSeed is a fully virtual mental health centre specializing in trauma-informed therapy. We offer individual psychotherapy, groups and programs for individuals 16+, all based on the 3-stage trauma model. We are a private clinic. Most of our services are not covered by OHIP, but are covered by most insurance plans. We offer psychiatric consultations, which is OHIP-covered, for clients receiving psychotherapy services at our clinic, as part of our commitment to comprehensive care. Some approaches that we use include: DBT, MBCT, somatic, art, mindfulness, psychodynamic and attachment-based therapies. Please note that we do not accept crisis referrals. We are an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals that meet people where they are and help them get to where they want to be. Our clients face challenges with: - Trauma (complex & PTSD) - Mood and anxiety disorders, and intense emotions (eg. shame, anger) - Substance and alcohol use - Disordered eating & body image issues - Self-Harm and/or History of Suicidality - Dissociative and somatic symptoms - Relationship and work issues - Life Transitions - Feeling of low self worth - History of interpersonal trauma / adverse childhood experiences - Borderline personality / other attachment disorders
