Additional information: The PCFHC Eating Disorder Support Program is a 6-month multidisciplinary approach to support members of the community struggling with disordered eating and eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia, binge eating disorder and Other Specified Feeding and Eating Disorder (OSFED). Our 6-month virtual program offers an easily accessible online learning program, as well as biweekly zoom meetings to offer structured education and informal group support to complement the online learning modules. The PCFHC EDSG offers a supportive transition for clients moving from more intensive treatment to less intensive community-based care or vice versa. Additionally, we support clients in the community as an initial step in treatment, aiming to prevent hospitalization and reduce the need for higher-level services. The program is open to residents of Renfrew County, including rostered and non-rostered patients, over the age of 12. Primary healthcare practitioners must complete a referral form to the program and be prepared to medically follow patients throughout their duration in the program.
