Additional information: VIRTUAL Cardiology and Internal Medicine Consultations NOW AVAILABLE In response to Covid-19, Clinics across country are encouraged to increase the availability of Specialist consultations to increase the capacity for urgent assessments. We are responding by adding the option of Specialist consultations by phone or video: Step 1: Referral is received and triaged. Step 2: Patient phone consultations available within 48 hours. Step 3: Once phone consultation is complete, if patient requires an urgent in-person appointment, it will be booked promptly. Step 4: Staff continue to take all Public Health precautions in addition to heightened screening, disinfecting and cleaning when seeing patients for in-person consultations.
