Additional information: Medical Imaging at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre is part of the Joint Department of Medical Imaging (comprised of Toronto General, Princess Margaret, Toronto Western, Sinai Health and Women's College hospitals). As the largest comprehensive medical imaging department in Canada, our cutting-edge technology and highly trained staff are instrumental in the diagnosis, assessment, and planning and delivery of treatment for patients at the University Health Network's Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, Toronto General Hospital, Toronto Western Hospital and Toronto Rehab, as well as Sinai Health and Women's College hospitals. As leaders in medical imaging globally, we continuously strive to evolve our program and technology to meet international best practices and technology standards so that we can provide timely, accurate feedback to our patients and clinical staff. As part of this goal, we actively participate in research and innovation in imaging and ehealth technology. Medical Imaging at Princess Margaret focuses on oncologic-related imaging and interventions. Due to excessive wait times, JDMI can not process requisitions outside the established catchment area for the following modalities / procedure types: computed tomography (CT), interventional radiology (IR), and biopsy. There are currently no timelines available for when these requisitions can be processed.
