About this medication

Treats oral thrush. Canadian availability and suitability must be confirmed with the Care365 clinical team.

How to use it

Dissolve slowly in the mouth as prescribed; do not substitute skin or vaginal products.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

Pregnancy and breastfeeding need individual assessment; the US label does not recommend use below age three.

Before you use it

Avoid ingredient allergy. Review liver disease and ability to safely dissolve a lozenge.

Possible side effects

Nausea, unusual mouth sensations and liver-test changes.

When to get help

Worsening symptoms, swallowing difficulty or allergic swelling need assessment.

Other medicines and products

Provide all medicines, particularly transplant medicines, for interaction screening.

Missed doses, storage and accidental exposure

Follow your own product’s missed-dose instructions. If you are unsure, ask the Care365 clinical team before taking an extra dose. Contraceptives, injections and modified-release medicines may need a specific plan.

Keep the original packaging and follow its storage, expiry and disposal instructions. Keep medicines away from children and pets. Ask about refrigeration, after-opening limits and safe sharps disposal when relevant.

For suspected overdose or accidental swallowing, contact poison control or urgent medical care promptly. Call emergency services for breathing difficulty, collapse or a seizure.
